About me.

My name is Meinte, I am a Dutch photographer born in Goes, The Netherlands.

After building my photography skills as a hobbyist for several years, I decided to study in the field at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam (GLR), where I graduated with a solid understanding of photography techniques and principles. To further my knowledge, I studied one year at GLRXTRA which focuses more on the business side of photography. Gaining valuable information to help me start my own business.

Throughout my journey, I became increasingly interested in the power of photography to shed light on social issues and promote positive change. This led me to choose a new path in civil rights photography, where I use my lens to capture stories and moments that raise awareness and inspire action.

Over mij

With my camera in hand, I am determined to capture and share the stories that matter. After years of building my photography skills, I have found my true calling in using my camera to shed light on pressing political and social issues. I believe that photography has the power to raise awareness, challenge perceptions, and inspire change.

My journey into political and social photography has been one of discovery and growth. As I explored various photographic styles and subjects, I realized that my true passion lay in using my talents to give a voice to those who are often overlooked or misunderstood. Whether documenting protests, capturing the faces of the marginalized, or revealing the hidden consequences of political decisions, I strive to create images that challenge viewers to think more deeply about the world around them.

Through my work, I aim to bridge the gap between different perspectives and encourage empathy and understanding. I believe that photography can be a powerful part of change, and I am committed to using my skills to make a positive impact. I invite you to join me on this journey and discover the stories that need to be told.
